  1. helmits on .i have a reso mooring .i pay c/t .i also agree with lulufish .i have also stayed in marinas as a live aboard and i have never had a problem with staying on the boat .i am also aware there are marinas that do have little rules that must be upheld ...but i would think there is a commador with is hat on calling the odds , or a chairman who thinks he is running the imf ...instead of a marina ...i have no wish to fall out with anyone .on this subject .thats my thoughts on this for whats it worth ...and as for grammer dyslexia does not help

  2. i think you will find leisure mooring at lots of marinas.that may suit your needs purple 8 ...i had a leisure moorings for over 10 years and never had a problem ...but i have reso morrings now ...which means i have counsel tax to pay ..not ideal ..but it works for me .but not every one ..enjoy your boat ..good luck with it all ...

  3. hi embis .my other half is a keen fisherman ...and he informs me he has catched most species out of the cut. roach pearch rudd carp pike tench bream gudgeon daddy rough kray fish .and most on the pole ...he said you will catch fish useing the fly fishing method ..but more on the pole method ...but then he also told me about the one that got away

  4. hi folks .could any one help me out with this please .some time in may i need to be at a place called ..clonter opera house swetenham heath congleton post code cw12 2lr .and i want to get as far as i can to that place on my boat .i have searched the net .and canal planner .but i dont seem to be getting very far ...would of you nice people know where i could moor up as close to this place please.kind regards

  5. you would be amazed at what some boaters do ...this does not surprise me in the least ...d..kheads ...morons what ever you want to call them .i would have thought only a boater could have done this .imo selffish people only worry about themselfs and dont give a toss about anyone else .thats what i have learned abt some boaters in my 15 years on the canal .

  6. people run there engines for a purpose .they dont just do it for the sake off it ...we have all come across this ..and how many of us have come across some on the canal who think they own it ...i agree with you billybob 5 hours is more then enough .but there may be other reasons for this
