Lifetime association with boats, Widebeam, narrowbeam and commercial/pleasure seagoing sometimes liveaboard sometimes not. Served in the Merchant Navy for 11 years came from a seafaring family at one time we could just about have crewed a ship from skipper to cook with relations. Then spent several years working as electronics engineer in design and development then ran a commercial electrical company. Partially retired early due to ill health. Still allow myself to be talked into doing occasional jobs providing it involves boats and looks interesting.
