  3. Thanks mate :-) It's been a while... a looongg while.
  4. I am moored on non CRT water, I don't have to have a licence but I do - so I can go on CRT waters when I like. I pay to be moored on that water. It's private, there are only 8 boats. But to be honest I wouldn't say if I didn't have a licence I was evading it. I don't legally need it?

  7. http://www.thesittingducks.org worth a go but it would be expensive to go that far.

  11. I'm talking about actually putting it in the stove! But I do see what you mean about expensive to run.....
  12. http://www.amazon.co.uk/1-liter-stainless-steel-burner-bio-ethanol/dp/B0062OJDQ0/ref=pd_sim_sbs_kh_4 So here's the thing, I've been looking at something like this to put inside my dead stove in the boatman's cabin. These things do not need a flu or anything like that (but I would imagine need ventilation) hence taking the glass out of said stove and putting some metal gauze in instead would be the order of the day. Anyone any ideas why this would not work?

  15. I have a lovely Lily King stove with a back boiler and a pumped through central heating system. The pump however is pretty noisy (about 4 years old). Can anyone suggest a virtually silent 12 volt central heating pump that will work?
  16. I actually am replacing mine with mushrooms gradually. .Terrible things.

  20. I would allow £5k for work.
  21. I had the same problem once and actually it was a leak in an air vent that was allowing rain in, hence in the winter it had more water in than in the summer. Worth checking your vents/ingresses.
