Hello All I am new to the forum although I have been reading as a guest for a few years now. I was prompted to register after seeing this thread as I have an Axiom prop on a 55ft Trad with a Beta 43. Over the last 20 odd years I have previously owned a 38ft cruiser stern with SR2 and stupidly small prop, 47ft cruiser stern with Vetus 4.14 and reasonably well specified prop, 64ft Trad with RN DM2 and over sized prop - then the same engine in a 52ft Trad/Tug style with better sized prop. The current boat with Axiom prop reverses and maneuvers very well indeed and is only matched by the 52ft Trad/Tug style with RN DM2 but then taht was a few years ago now. I can't comment on value for money as it was fitted to a new boat and so the cost was "lost" in total. Hope the helps.
