  1. Utter clap trap, most modern boat alternators charge at above this rate. You obviously have no understanding of sealed battery technology (if it can be called that)
  2. Noting the logo on your profile :- IS THIS THE OFFICIAL POSITION OF THE NATIONAL MARINE ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATION ON THE SUBJECT?
  3. Now that really isn't a nice way to communicate to anyone, especially to someone who is trying to show you that all you say may not be received in the best light. I feel this could be falling on deaf ears. Others will make their own mind up
  4. See me old mate ST, others have a similar view to your problem. You just need to pull your neck in ROFLFAO Just seen your earlier post:- Yes of course I am Gibbo er not. Did he make you see the error of your ways too lol
  5. Oh dear, and you are supposedly in business on your own account. Wishing you happy days, somehow I think you are going to need all the help you can get.
  6. Sorry station tug IT IS Absolutely ALL OVER THE INTERNET, google Gs controls in 2 months and up will pop your innocent post. Disconnecting a faulty (assumption) voltmeter is hardly going to render your boat unusable. I have
  7. Hi station tug, GS controls are a well respected company, don't you think it more sensible to have a chat with Gary and see if he can resolve your problem, without splashing all over the internet??
  8. Ok joking apart, How does a nominee go about getting the votes to be elected ? There are enough suitable members in this forum to be nominees and members to ensure they hit the criteria, how is a nominee turned into a CaRT council member. To be successful it seems to me that you would have to put a lot of time and more importantly MONEY in to promote the right person
  9. I nominate The Guitar Doctor Running for cover
  10. Absolutely agree. But hurry there are not many good ones left!
  11. Thats exactly why I suggest using a proper facility with the right equipment in my edit! Not got a clue, I didn't intimate you had said anything of the sort!
  12. Nooo never, wire brushing polishes the surface, blacking will not adhere. Lots of info to support that fact on the web. ETA a good facility with a suitable high powered pressure washer will not leave any flakey paint to have to deal with.
  13. The boat is new? and only in the water in April/May ? Rusty spots/areas are common, mill scale falling away and leaving bare areas to rust. It can take up to 3 blackings for the mill scale to be rid of.
  14. Not rocket science, your boat should be swinging a 17x10. Don't believe me? ask Crowthers or Beta themselves.
