You can upload from the iCloud website. Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Then select photos and there is an option to upload files. Simply select the folders on you laptop and upload.

Sorry, maybe I misunderstood. Your last post suggested you needed both a operators license and a ships radio licence. I didn't read the link you posted.
No problem. It's not very clear.

See first reply above
Ships Radio licence for a fixed radio. Ships Portable Licence for hand held.
See OFCOM page I bothered to search and provide link. -
Actually you do need both.
An operators "licence" which is issued on completion of the RYA Short Radio Course and included in the fee.
A ships radio licence which is issued free by OFCOM - https://www.ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-licence/radiocommunication-licences/ships-radio -
It is indeed a beautiful area and should provide an ideal location for this worthwhile facility.

Maybe it just needs a bit of tweaking to make it easier to navigate. I don't really need both a gallery across the top and a "top gallery pics" on the right - it's largely duplicated. Also don't need the "most popular" posters list. Could this space be better used.

One stormy day us and the whole world will be able to install a ''Lightening catcher'' which entices, catches, transforms and imprisons the electricity generated in thunder storms, all ready for use. A god send and free of charge. It will be absolutely forking wonderful.
Please could you advise where you will be conducting experiments as I'd prefer to be in another county.

I would have more sympathy if the article didn't distort the facts. I noticed on the news last night that caravan based travellers moving into a school car park were very quickly moved on with no regard for their children's education.
Surely the solution is for schools to provide saniatary facilities and allow travellers to stay in the car park until their children reached adulthood. Schools could also covert the playing fields into large ponds which CC'er could cruise around in while their children attend school.
This has the twofold advantage of enabling these children to get an education and freeing up popular moorings for genuine CC'ers and leisure boaters.

I use my son's address. This has the advantage of being free and he can scan anything important and email it to me.

Hi,
struggling a bit with the new site but guess I'll find my way around. The link on the announcement stating more info here doesn't work.

There's a stoppage on the T&M just south of Gt Hayward until 17 Mar.

Mine ended up in the water once but I found it easily - it was in my pocket at the time.

I'm fairly sure there is no booking it's just turn up and hope. I've been twice, once in August, and found a slot both times. They are limited to 48 hrs if I recall correctly and there are no services in the basin so stop on the way down just above lock 52.

Not really my style but it is certainly a beautifully fitted out boat.

Corgi was the register of approved gas fitters - now replaced by Gas Safe register. Link below:

That seems very shallow, most narrowboats are deeper draft. Does anyone know if it really is 24" or is that CART being conservative.

Agree it's the one on the inside of the turn into the basin. Fortunately should only affect a couple of mooring spots as there are two wide beams on permanent moorings there.

Thanks for sharing that. Looks a useful app and also has details of events on the river

There is a sister ship - a yellow submarine.

It's not clear from the article but it seems to be only the section beyond the fan footbridge which isn't available to boaters. Anyone know if the existing moorings will remain.

I can't comment on the alternator controller but I have a sterling pro charge mains battery charger and the output voltages for flooded lead acid batteries are:
High Charge 14.8 Float 13.6 and Maintenance 12.8
