in the boat it's a Kelvin J3 ,in the Land Rover it's a 200 tdi ,The land rover hasn't had ANY white diesel since October 2008 !,even in the depth of winter (-12) winter before last i still ran 100% biodiesel simply by using an additive.

I run on 100% biodiesel and haven't had any issues at all ,i did have a fuse blow on my lights ,so that was probably caused by the biodiesel , seeing as it gets blamed for everything else

When i used to go backpacking i used to take a water filter called "first need" It's made by General ecology ,this filter will purify anything apart from salt water ,i now keep it on board the boat for absolute emergencies
