  5. At my request, the baseboard was marine plywood rather than mdf or chipboard.
  6. The company produced tops for our galley and bathroom, sinks moulded from same material so no seams or joints. they produced wall tiles as well to match. Very pleased with the outcome. they even left us with a small panel to use to repair any damage in the future.

  16. At last!!! After over five years work to refit interior, engine, electrics, gas and water and an exterior paint job, we finally got Badgers Rest into the water in Sharpness Docks and then up to our mooring at Saul. We now look forward to partial retirement and many adventures. Yippee!!!!
  17. Reported in Gloucestershire Echo today, that nb unicorn has been moved from its location in Tewkesbury, (stranded after floods for the last 18 months or so) and has been refloated and sold on.
  18. Have been along to Tewkesbury this afternoon, Unicorn is afloat, gently bobbing in the flood waters, but looking quite a sorry sight. Paintwork is peeling and generally very dirty. I am very surprised that the local volunteer water rescue unit have not been along to move her to the nearby pontoon while the chance is there.
  19. My heating system was built using the grey 22m pipe and fittings, had one leak at a joint and was able to undo the grey t piece but could not cure the leak. The replacement white fitting was all I could buy, but after installation the fitting leaked within its own moulding. this could not be cured so all was taken apart again and the fitting was replaced by the plumbers merchant, who said that this was not the first one he has returned.
  20. As Carlt says, WW does not have much editorial in it so I have not renewed my subscription. I get really fed up trying to find something to read in amongst the adverts.
