  1. hi all,i`m looking for some kind of plastic bucket come container that will fit under the stern tube in that little triangular section,that way i can keep the bilge pump in there and everything will be a bit neater,i was wondering if anyone has something that they have used and proved ideal,many thanks in advance

  5. i moor at shardlow in derbyshire,and once we left there to cruise to the llangollen basin we could`nt get a signal at anytime,so no tv for three weeks,i did`nt miss it but the mrs`s did

  9. thats right what you say, but in mine you can only see about an inch into the bowman because there are pipes in the way

    radiator cap

    hi all,i have a bmc 1800 fitted in my nb,and every time i check the water level after cruising(when cold) i have lost water,about a pint,i no where its comming from i think,around the radiator cap there is a lot of rusty water staining like the cap is not sealing properly,do they fail ? should i get a new one,if so where would i get one from,many thanks in advance

  13. hi,can anyone on the forum let me no where i can get hold of flat paint in around 2.5.ltr quantity's, also in a variety of colours for applying to metal, all the tins i seem to see are around 250 to 750 ml size,many thanks
  14. keelblack is a produck you paint on your hull to protect it,it is relatively new so you may not of heard of it,hope this helps you

  18. hi all,i`m looking at getting a cratch cover made and have come across titan boat canopies,they sound very good, there not the cheapest but i was wondering if anyone has had a cover made by them and were they happy with the cover, also has anyone any other recommendations, many thanks

  21. hi all,after a trip out on my semi trad nb before Christmas i got a coal bag around my prop, i had a hell of a job to remove it mainly because of the access to the weed hatch,i had to crawl over a hot engine and somehow had to lift out the weed hatch cover at arms length,it seemed to be a rather simple job turned into a nightmare,so i thought about cutting a hatch in the back deck above the weed hatch to make it a lot easier to access the prop, my question is has anybody done this or does anybody no someone who could do this for me ,i`m in the notts/derby border area, many thanks
