  1. Sorry if this upsets you, It's by no means meant to trick people, (what is the trick anyway) We both come from Kinver and work from Kinver, this area (thanks to Wilsons) is now noted for its canopies. We are the same people who used to design a create them whilst working for Wilsons. If anything I think it helps people to notice that there is more than one company who can supply a certain style of cover. We have gone above and beyond to point out to people that we are not Wilsons.. I have even purchased Wilsonsofkinver.com and posted a notice on there informing people about us and the fact that Wilsons is still trading. We have no intension into tricking customers into using us and have corrected anyone who has phoned us thinking we are, even passing on details to Ralph Wilson and giving concerned Wilsons customers contact numbers for Ralph (Instead of trying to steel the trade for ourselves).
  2. Cheers Tony and thanks for the support, At the risk of upsetting anymore I think its best if I keep uploads to a limited few. I believe I may be up to 0.03% already if you count those who are concerned this may be advertising a little too much. And thanks to all of you for your messages of support.
  3. Kinver canopies are just myself (Ian Underwood) and Scott Ward (both ex-wilsons staff)working from a small unit in Kinver... On the other hand Wilsons of kinver went in liquidation and have now come out the other side as Wilson covers Ltd with a smaller work force but still run by The Wilsons, Ian and Ralph and the same building/car park and vans down by the canal in Kinver To keep the forum happy I will now stop putting photos up..unless its a new design or creation.. all box standard covers will not be shown.. I'd also love to make a contribution to the running of the site, I think it's great...Just tell me how/where.
  4. Sorry. Is this aimed at me...What's an OP? didn't know that it tells people when we've uploaded a piccy ,thats why Iv'e put no more photos on this post. Just wanted people to see what was possible (if they wanted to look) and maybe even alter things if they think they could be improved. Yep just a standard stern cover. If you want I could send a photo of one. Not sure if i'm allowed to post one up here. Are there not rules for adverts in this forum. But it does look good. Anyway we digress...

  10. Not a bad job, Did you make it yourself? Do the rear zips on the roof section allow any rain to drip in?
  11. I'll look into it, but I would think that the material would need to be waterproofed on a much more regular basis, that amount of fabsil would soon add up. I'm also unsure of the U.V protection given to the lighter material. I know ours is guaranteed for five years. I'm in the middle of creating the website myself, I am sorry its not up to scratch yet, but as a none webdeveloper It's comming along slowly. If your interrested in helping I'd be glad to chat and maybe for payment we could produce some of our 'quality work' for your boat if you needed it.. Back to the good old days of swapping two pigs for a cow. Good point.. I'll also start work on some designs.. and add them to our poor old website when I finally get chance to complete it.
  12. Thanks for all your support folks With the idea of fly screen behind windows its gets a bit tricky as both the window and the fly screen would need to roll up/ be removed, as im sure you wouldn't want the screen to block the view from the window when its down. How about interchangeable windows/screens? And I've been told Pram hoods are ideal wet rooms for drip drying dogs in whilst its raining and you've been out for a walk.
  13. Sounds like you need to buy a house! or a framed cratch..which can be removed and stored also has zips in to gain access to gas locker.
  14. Right I've now taken the bull by the horns and reported myself for this post.. As I don't want to upset anyone. I've also asked what I can do to still gauge the Ideas on new covers from the forum without it being an advert. Hope this will keep the scales even for all sides.
  15. Not quite one half.. Just two of us poor old employees. Trying to scratch a living out the trade that we learnt over the last 17 years.
  16. Sorry I'll check.. I was also looking for any ideas or problems that you guys may have that could be brian stormed. One such problem is the frosting of internal windows caused in winter.. We are trying to work on some 'double glazing' type widow covers. As I said.. any ideas would be great.. send them this was for a Topic.
  17. No!!! That was the company that made us redundant. Scott and I (Ian Underwood) have started on our own.. The bust company has also restarted called Wilson covers Ltd. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE this is not us.. Don't post that it is. Kind Regards Ian
