  1. The tory press will always come up with so call disgruntled voters but these do not stack up with the facts

more people have join the labour party since corbyn was made leader

labour won the oldham by election with an increased share of the vote

No matter what there say corbyn has morals he sands by , so the public know whether there agree with him or not thats where he stands

i.e he does not lie or spin or dodge

  2. my boat is moored at Great Haywood and I see how fast boat sales is sell I have to say its a sellers market I would suggest you go and see the boats you like and put in an offer on the one you fancy, waiting around might not be the best approach

  3.

But we arent putting in ground forces, we're relying on Cameron's estimated 70,000 fighters already there who obviously will not use our bombing to cover their inter tribal war fare but will immediately bury their differences and unite to fight daesh!

Was that a pig that just flew past my window?

Caneron doesn't give a monkeys about the people who elected him, he gives even less to those who didn't.

    I know was just saying

But Cameron does care about the voters especially if large enough portion of them demonstrate or sign petitions. Or email there MP.s

and do not say it does not work if large enough people did he would notice

  4.

I think you'll find that David already has. Unless I've misread his posts he is ex service.

Thanks believe it or not if it was not for my age I would be off in a shot. To me to wear the uniform of our country is a privilege.

thought I think the present strategy is wrong, but soldiers do not refuse orders of our parliament, that is the duty of the people that's how it has to work.

and why soldiers rely on the people to hold politicians to account.

    That's my view

  5. I agree, but it's not an option on the table at the moment. Hopefully, it will be in time.

In this day and age, it's virtually impossible to control movement of money and arms.

Your idea is good, but not doable. Far to many factions and different views.

    We are where we are.

sorry to disagree but it can be done not easy but as an old Proverb says

a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step

  6. There are, and always will be innocents killed in war time. It's not good, but it's the reality.

Most of your posts are based "at the moment" on conjectured scenarios.

Sitting back, and waiting is not an option. The problem needs to be dealt with.

I believe everyone knows something has to be done but bombing is not the way

We should bring our experience and power to bear on all parties opposed to ISIS on the ground to sit down and come together with a plan to destroy ISIS and what to do afterwards

and all the major powers outside the region to stop the flow of money to ISIS and maky supplying arms to them illegal even through 3 or 4th parties

  7.

They tried to cut off pira's money supply. It was virtually impossible.

he mission last night took out oil installation's, cutting off that particular income.

the main problem was there major money source was the states where it was not illegal to be a PIRA fund raiser

and I think now we are top of ISIS hit list.

    This is what corbyn stated last night;

"Parliament has just voted to launch airstrikes in Syria. I am reminded of the messages I have received in recent days from my constituents who have expressed deep concern for family in Syria. I also think of our armed forces whose lives will be put in danger.
The fact of the matter is, David Cameron’s case was not convincing, lacking either credible ground troops or a plan for a diplomatic settlement. Since he first made his case for airstrikes in Syria, last Thursday, opposition has mounted; in the country, in parliament and in the Labour Party.
It is impossible to avoid the conclusion that the Prime Minister realised opposition to his ill thought-out rush to war was growing – and he needed to hold the vote before it slipped from his hands. I have argued, and will continue to do so, that we should re-double our efforts to secure a diplomatic and political end to the conflict in Syria.
British service men and women will now be in harm’s way and the loss of innocent lives is sadly almost inevitable."
What is or would be a diplomatic, political solution?

to try and find middle ground that all opposition parties in syria can come together under one banner. sounds so simple

  9.

    Indeed it could.

This comment ( threat ?) was not anonymous

Creasy, whose office was targeted for an anti-war protest, complained of intimidation while considering how to vote. She posted on Facebook in response to comments by a Walthamstow Labour councillor, Asim Mahmood, who suggested that any MP who supported the “killing of innocents in this way should automatically go through a ballot for reselection”.

She wrote: “I want to be clear that one thing I will not do is be bullied by a sitting Walthamstow Labour councillor with the threat of deselection if I don’t do what he wants. On a matter of national security such intimidation is unacceptable and disrespectful to the residents of Walthamstow who deserve better and glad to hear Jeremy in PLP condemn such conduct.”

Yes but that is one MP who has gone against the wishes of her local party there is no conspiracy against all those who voted against the party no matter what the tory press want.
