  1. It doesnt have to be metal can be wood, I'll post some pics MJG if I do finally get one. Does anybody know anywhere cheap for mushroom vents at the moment? I need 4 of them.
  2. The boat currently needs a couple more ventilation vents (in my opinion) and I'm hoping somebody can fit them and a pigeon box. There's 2 people I've got in mind who will but my roof is not curved it's flat - straight and meet at a slope angle at the top, if that makes sense? That's the only way I can describe it.
  3. What do you think the result would be like if I got one from Midland Chandlers and painted it myself and stuck some bargeware decals of eBay as a LAST resort?
  4. I like midland chandlers one with the 2 glass window eyes. I've seen some before that's more fancy and had tradionsl patterns on and painted in blue and green etc.
  5. I've looked on the net can't find anybody who sells pigeon boxes. Does anybody know anybody who sells any?
  6. If I have a commercial BSS & fully comprehensive insurance and I have done my RYA helmsman course and gained a certificate and I've met all the following requirements below do I automatically qualify for a bw leisure business license? 10. If we ask you, you agree to show them to us. 13. In making an application for a Leisure Business Licence, you are confirming that you meet all of the above requirements. We may carry out an inspection and will draw your attention to any shortcomings. If you do not put these right, we may terminate your Leisure Business Licence. We may re-inspect the Boat at your expense.
  7. The last people who had it had fitted out kitchen and put joints over it so it can't be removed and built it in, absolutely silly. Earlier at the marina I was walking down to my boat and saw 2 ladys panicking and the next thing I saw an old gentleman had fallen in the side towards bank and he didn't have any physical strength to get himself out. I think it must have been the shock and not sure what to do a lady ran upto the broker office and Ralph came with a ladder and we helped him out. An ambulance was called but I hope he is ok, I've never fell in myself but I've slipped but always luckily managed to catch hold onto something.
  8. That's exactly the fridge onboard.
  9. I've been down to the boat and the fridge has wood over it so it's been integrated into the units. I can't even pull it out but i do have a model number which is LG GC 051SS. I'm on my phone but can't find any information about it anywhere.
  10. When is this being brought in does anybody know? Will the license fee be a private fee at £700 or £1450 (rough figures of what it is on the top of my head. Is there any links regarding this? Thanks Andrew
  11. Wanting recommendations for people for a full engine service for my B.M.C 1.5 near Mercia Marina or someone who can do it onsite. I would do it myself but just don't have the time at the moment. I have tried Stuart Fletcher Marine service and he's pretty busy but not yet heard from Aqua boar services yet. Anybody? Andrew
  12. I understand that an inverter converts 12v to 240 but I confused myself on the last bit with regards to running it on 12v I apologise. What I MENT to have posted is will it be better to run 240 from inverter constantly or just 12v? Which would have a slower impact on the batteries? Soon I'll have 3 leisure batteries instead of 2.
