  7. There is I believe no requirement for AIS on inland waterways. At sea its a requirement for boats over a certain size. If you choose to fish an inland waterway where there is commercial traffic its your risk

    Oil

I have started buying from Lube Tech using eBay as they are local to me and have a good range of oils. http://www.lubetechshop.co.uk Prices seem competitive CC/CD/ oils available in many SAE varieties
  10. Whilst I may well be able to see them there they are now all shuttered as well so no good for litle fingers.I could if I wished go to our stock room where there are more 13/15/16/32/63/125/shuko connectors than everyone on here will get to see in their lives
  11. I miss the old 15amp round pin sockets, as a young child I used to stick my fingers in them
  12. We have been using "oxygen bleach" for some months now. Works better than bio washing liquid which in turn is better than blue.

  14. What she needs is this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Travel-Mask-Blindfold-Flight-Cover/dp/B0098YQ7Z6
  15. When I have done this on other stoves I have ususlly ground off the head of the bolt and removed the clip. Ground off the remains drilled and tapped right through and replaced bolt with one put in from the front with a nut on the back to hold the clip on
  16. I assume that time is the whole thing from Arm End to Northampton and not just the 13 Rothersthorpe locks
  17. As I have to go down or up three locks to wind I would expect any boat to give me priority on the return journey as I would have set all the locks in my favour and the gates would be open.
  18. If you change your mind I can transport Thrapston to Datchet....... ETA if you click on link to charger then under the specification tab you can download manual and data sheet. Both give efficiency as >=85% and PF as 1 at full load.
  19. I used to have a 60'x11'6 barge, which was my ideal boat, on the southern GU, it ended up being such a pain that the only boating we did on the GU was to get to Brentford as quickly as possible to get on to water more suitable for a boat at of that size. Sold it 4 years ago and now have a Narrowboat, says it all really.
  20. Just spent 2 hrs cleaning my stove and flue ready for the winter. Not intending to light it just yet, we have an eber for cool weather. Lots of stuff on top of the register plate before I swept the flue, used my new Aldi Ashvac so inside of stove is pristine
