This should clarify what baffles do in a skin tank. This was on a boat I built some time back and I took the pic to ensure I'd got the path of circulation correct. In this case the tank is 1/2" wide ( thickness) and functions as expected. Hope this helps.....

Assuming that you have no major mobility problems I suggest getting a hip bath. It might lack the wow factor but makes a hugely practical shower base. No chance of overflowing and great for washing the dog. Also good for washing clothes when the washing machine breaks and as an occasional emergency water store. You can even sit in it but that is nowhere near as good as a proper bath. Obviously drained with a Whale Gulper. ..............Dave

Any chance you can tell me where you get the 20k a day figure from ? What percentage of that is business travel ? HS2 is likely to price out the leisure traveller. Nothing you have said above comes close to justifying the damage being done to the environment by the construction of HS2 - we have a government by a Tory party that has the gall to use an Oak tree as their symbol .... but HS2 is destroying acre upon acre of ancient woodland, and who knows how many other irreplaceable natural assets - just to feed an ever increasing demand for more more more, faster faster faster. That's true but in lots of places they need to be pretty big wheels and my little legs get scared at the jump! In many places the nearest I can get to the bank is about 2 foot so wheelbarrow wheels don't work. I have a plank but it's a bit mouldy so I'm also scared that it will break while I'm crossing it. I imagine I'd hate driving too if I was 8 foot tall. Not enough headroom.

yes it is a tricky one but I am determined to give it a go, not sure how or when but I'll figure it out and expect it's going to be hard at times I can not imagine what your experience has been, but yes I want to moor it, finish it then move on. That gives us time to try some time on it at weekends and holidays to find out if we can do it
