BENDIX STARTER

There are two main differences between the BENDIX and the Pre-engage starters when seen in location.

Pre-engage Starter

All terminals are on the solenoind.

BENDIX

In the absence of an integral solenoid the terminals are normaly mounted on the end plate.

When removed from the engine the Bendix has a long drive shaft with a large spring at the end.
