Need some advise

We are cruising the Leeds/Liverpool Canal full circle from Bingley 5 back to Barrowford. Does anyone know how long it will take, do we need anchor for river cruising from Leeds, Castleford, Wakefield. Will we need a wood paddle key for any lock as we were told about a 3/2 for some lock after Wakefield ?   Where would you position the anchor on the boat? We own a 50ft narrowboat.

more thoughts

Mark has been on several holidays around the waterways since a child and I have been on a couple of trips. Since we have met 2 years ago, we have made regular trips to the canal to walk the towpaths and jus
