At 11am yesterday our three year old brindle Staffordshire bull terrier disappeared from just below Stenson Lock. We saw her jump off the narrow boat but no further sighting since then. Her name is 'Jessie' and we would really appreciate any news (good or bad) that anybody may have. Please contact me on here. Many thanks.
Hello everyone
I'm new to this, so forgive me if I'm in the wrong place!
I need advice.
My family own a field by the river, and we've had people mooring up there for ever (well, all of my life and I'm 40, and dad can't remember a time they wasn't boats either)
So, we don't charge much and we leave people to get on with whatever they want to get on with, live and let live and all that. We take good care of the land, keep the willows safe and the gate and drive good.
We rent out mooring, n
Hi, we have a morso squirrel and want to fit a back boiler. Has anyone who's fitted one got any advice? I've been given a boiler from a different stov?, which i am convinced will fit, the person fitting it is not comfortable to take the risk. I'm resigned to buying a genuine morso boiler, but would be grateful for any advice or tips.

The world is not going to reach the age of cyborgs anytime soon but a very crucial part of it has already made its way in the lives of millions of people – computers. The impact of IT has been astounding with almost every place of work having no less than tens to hundreds of computers and related IT materials.
With the growing need of computers, waste materials of IT particulars also increased which led the environment activists into action. What followed was chalking out plans to recycle
Following my post on the 12th June re a Stolen Day Hire Boat, I am now led to believe she was sunk in a lock on Friday 13th June.
As this is a Civil dispute & due to the data protection act, I am unable to ascertain if this information is correct or an insurance scam.
Should anyone have any information, please contact Tracey on 07969186060.
Please can anybody help find the location of Margaret Mary Day Hire Boat. She will be hard to spot as she does not have any graphics name on her, she is a brand new boat. Painted black & white. I believe her to be in the Nantwich area, possibly moored alongside DreamCatcher Boat Craft Index 74653. If anyone can help please call 07969186060 or email whitenancyltd@btconnect.com.
Kind regards Tracey

Today we were horse boating in the traditional way. The historic narrowboat Birdswood and her passengers were pulled along the Cromford canal by the beautiful shire horse Chelsea. We managed two round trips from the Gothic Warehouse to Leawood Pump Station. Pictured here is Chelsea whilst winding the boat which you can just see in the background. What a great experience.
Please let me know if you are interested in joining out next horseboat trip either as volunteer crew, passenger or if y

Hi, I have worked in boats most of my life running Godalming Narrow Boats in 70's & 80's and Turk Launches in the 90's. Now retired I spend my summers cruising the inland waterways of Europe and winters in UK (Newbury). I would like to spend next winter (Oct 14 to March 15) cruising UK waterways especially Thames and K & A on a good quality fully heated narrowboat (possibly wide beam). A boat has been unattended for at least 2 years and has drifted off its moorings several times, being re-moored by passers by and in general being a nuisance. It also was taking on water. A few weeks ago after strong winds it drifted within a stones throw of my back garden which backs onto the canal (with mooring rights). With the aid of a canal trust member I secured it on my mooring. There was already a foot of water inside. I went on hols for a week and returned to find it had sunk and was re
Looking into renting my narrow boat as a liver-board. Does any one know what I will have to do to legally do this. Insurance and H&S etc.
I don't have a clue where to start and from what I can see there is few boats rented. Is there a reason for this I ask myself. Maybe I should just sell.
