  1. Just guessing but do you need to take off the circlip to release the washer in the center? Are the 3 holes threaded and do the bolts you removed thread into them? If so, try putting three of the bolts into the holes and tightening evenly.
  2. Thanks Pearly. Some food for thought there. I think I'll look at some other models before I decide. Phil
  3. Not what I wanted to hear but thanks Pearly. How much room did you have at the side of the fridge? At best I would have a 25mm gap which is less than ideal.
  4. Are the condenser coils on the 80 litre Shoreline fridges on sale currently at the back of the cabinet or bedded in the side panels? Looking to replace an old Lec based Inlander which at 50 cm wide only just fits between cupboards side to side but there is plenty of room at the back. Thanks, Phil
  5. Thanks for all the responses. I'll follow the advice from TandC and Col_T. I'll get some paper cups, disposable brushes and fast hardener. I still have to get the board and do the woodwork. Phil
  6. I have to replace a cruiser stern deck board which is around 6' by 2' 6" and I have ordered some 18mm Hexagrip board. West epoxy is often recommended to seal the board edges here so I thought I would give this a try but I'm a bit confused. Would I need fast or slow hardener for this job and how much resin and hardener would I need? I've been looking at 105 resin and either 205 or 206 hardener. Is that the right stuff? Would you recommend buying the proper West applicators? Thanks, Phil
  7. You might try Yelvertoft Marina. That's about 40 minutes from Coventry. They have a hydraulic rig to lift boats. I don't think there is electricity at the hard standing but you have said that is OK.
  8. Is the inline plastic filter going to be acceptable to BSS?
  9. I would want to know what might have caused the hole in the rad and if this is corrosion carefully check any additional rads which are likely to be the same age as the leaker.
  10. A40 is still in France. On the Garonne canal at Moissac today. Looking and sounding great.
  11. Hi Lou, I may have something suitable but I'm away from home until Sunday. I have two versions of the hob. If you haven't got it sorted by the weekend PM me and I'll send photos of what I have. Phil
  12. If you have no luck getting the jet unblocked, I have a couple of incomplete vanette hobs which I kept for spares. I could give you a burner if you are happy to dismantle your existing hob. There is not much to it if you can get out the screws which hold down the hob and those holding down the burner. PM me if you need one. Phil
  13. Is there another hull fitting near the stern? If so then it could be the outlet from the second bilge pump and give you a clue to where that pump is.
  14. Is the pump you found in the box exactly the same as the one you took off? If so it is possible that the pump you think is new is actually the predecessor to the one you removed this time just put in the box that its replacement came in and you have two defective pumps. The fact that the current pump kicks in indicates a leak somewhere, possible back through the pump. I'm not sure why you needed to touch the accumulator.
  15. There is good mooring below lock 7 (top lock) but you will have done 6 locks by then. People do moor lower down as well. I would avoid 11 - 10 as that pound drops badly overnight.
