Garp

Hi All This is the first time I have used this blogging thing so be patient. As I was getting to the end of my Boat Build the Saloon needed a focal point so I trolled the internet sales sites for a second hand Multyfuel Stove ( as cheap as possible ) while I found loads on offer I new I was going to repair / adapt / modifiy it in some way or another to be a bit different? My mate came over for a visit & I explained what I was going to do and he said straight away you,ve built a bloody boat why can't you build a simple fire? He was right ( not for the first time ). I went searching the net for ideas / designs / build regs etc. and finally came to the conclusion that a Gas bottle design would look the best. There are a lot of cheapy looking versions about but the one I liked most was the HotPod. As I bugdeted next to nothing to do the whole thing I sourced most of the steel from scrap bins & as I liveaboard on a yard were they build boats I managed to have access to some good tools & equipment. I thought I would share this with anyone thats interested in building there own & want some help or advice on it. Regards
