Thanks everyone, I have only had one boating holiday many years ago and loved it, It is just an idea at this moment in time so a long way off actually getting a boat and living on it so just trying to find out from the experienced "live aboard boating community" things crossing my mind at the moment are the general living cost weekly/monthly/yearly ?? utilities etc and also the cost of moorings if living on a marina and travelling ......what rates are about and what are fair pricing. based on at least a 4 berth. What in your opinions.............are the downfalls of living aboard?................the advantages?. What is it like in winter and summer? Would appreciate your views. many thanks x

Hello everyone, We are living in our 3 bed room house and really like the idea of living on the water .....have looked at some canal boats........i like the wider ones lol....i know there is so much to take into consideration before selling the house and buying a boat and this is my first step towards it ........so i will get through the posts on this site and hopefully learn a lot from it.
