My first experience of this problem happened in Ely on Saturday. Three teens fishing just beside the pump out station taking the only available mooring. Asked them if they would allow us in and move a few yards up stream where the mooring points end. Much foul language and aggression ensued! Nice guy on a narrow boat using the pump out station sided with us, and got a mouthful of abuse for his trouble.

Came across a bunch of teens swimming in /diving off the lower barnwell lock just outside oundle marina the other weekend. Absolute idiots; refused to stop even as we were entering the lock. They then made a few comments about looking out for our boat in the marina, as we drifted away. Someone also left the same lock paddles open overnight, and two of the boats in the marina were lost as a result.
