Definatly lime scale, I think... It is a hard deposit varying in depth up to 1mm. Did wonder if it had been caused by some sort of electrolitic action. Martin

Thank you Here are a some of pictures of the problem. She was painted with a 2 pack epoxy around five years ago and looked ok when it was lifted for survey 3 years ago since when she has been in the marina on the Thames in Reading. Maybe I should just paint over it but it feels a bit shoddy. and and

Have just fished Lady Antonia out of the water and had her presure washed. There is a lot of lime scale covering propable 30% of the surface. Any ideas on what to do about it would be appreciated. Martin
