    Hose

Thank you very much, Darren - that's great. I'll try the others first!

    Hose

Just missed some canvas fire hose on Ebay. I think I've now posted on the HNBC forum.

    Hose

Can anyone suggest somewhere to get the hose to run parallel to the strings and rockets over the cloths on my Small Woolwich please? Best of all, if I supply dimensions, could someone make them for me please?!
  4. Thank you all very much - I couldn't have asked for better advice!
  5. Thank you, onionbargee. I think I like the idea of legs, as long as it doesn't look wrong to more knowledgeable eyes!
  6. Thank you! Looking at photographs online, I've seen both legs and metal trays...
  7. We're just having our new Epping Stove installed in the back cabin and have been asked the question - on legs or not? Any advice please? Thanks, Ben
  8. Hi Laurence I've just tried Eyland, but with no joy. Stanley Bros leads to Abbey England. Will try them next - and I shall let you know how i get on. Ben
  9. Pete That is amazing, really amazing. Thank you very, very much... Looks like I've got to get busy on ebay to get all these back issues. I've not had any luck yet with your document, however. Is there any chance you could prepare a duplicate, by any chance? Thank you again, Ben
  10. Darren Thank you. I remember it - and Dad getting told off for flying a Union Jack afloat when he wasn't meant to! Anyway, I've just bought it and I'm grateful to you for pointing it out to me. Now, if I can only find the WW with Nebs and her Idle Women aboard... Thanks again, Ben
  11. Blimey... I knew she'd been on the cover of WW but I thought that was much later. I can't find it on fleabay. Please could you send me the link? Thanks, Ben That would be brilliant, thank you. We really are missing a whole heap of her story. And I remember Canis from our all too infrequent trips down to Norbury. It was a brilliant place for her to live, but too far when there's so much work to do on her. We're hoping to move her back when she's a bit less of a Rodney boat!
  12. That really does sound just the sort of thing we're looking for. If Trevor can't find it, might there be any chance of your creating something similar for us please? Please PM me if appropriate.
  13. Ah thanks! All clever stuff...
  14. That would be amazing. Thank you! Susan Woolfitt, who wrote Idle Women was one of her steerers, but I believe there were others, including the ladies who were reunited with her, and I think it might have been Hyperion, for Waterways World. Sorry, I'm new to this - what does PM mean? I've spoken to Trevor and he's going to have a look. This really is very encouraging. What did your document look like please? Thank you again...
  15. Thank you. I know she was raised in the early 80s by Balliol Fowden from Nantwich but not a huge amount else at the moment!
