Thanks to everyone for the feedback re blacking and apologies to those who may have received a response reporting it as spam. I wondered where they had gone and it wasn't until I got a message asking why I'd reported them as spam I realised what had happened!

This is really useful. My Springer hull was replated approx 7 years ago before I bought it, now time to get it checked before blacking. Would prefer diy blacking but need to find a dry dock which would be able to replate if that was needed. Would Hallingbury be up to that. If not any suggestions for suitable place located between London and Northants? I really don't want to go further North although that seems to be the area where these places are. Thanks all.
