check outlet pipes from sinks I found rusted away at galley sink

Just took our 50ft Trad out for Blacking found the hole where water drains from galley sink the pipe corroded it was letting water out of the boat but corroded enough to let it go inside.before this I found water lying underneath wardrobe near califorafior.might be good idea check all outlet pipes. Good Luck

How do you you get the rough paint on top and round the Gunnells? I thought I heard someone say mix salt in the paint but that does not sound right
