Thanks Dave. I just found your site. Best of luck with your site. I would refer to us as a Hostel Boat as unlike Community Boats we don't really cater for under 18's - it's more international and budget travellers. Thanks again, it's difficult to find ways to get our message out there and it all helps. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you.

Hi Dave,
Our trips start in April. We're called Wandering Duck (www.wanderingduck.co.uk). We've done some test trips with friends and backpackers and feedback has been great! A little scary to be starting such a new idea but we're feeling very positive.

hi mark what a great idea a community boat sounds great how long have you been doing that for?

Hi Mr Muddywaters, My wife and I are in our 30's and we run a hostel boat - our guests are generally young travellers interested in meeting like minded people. There are no specific age restrictions (although no children). If you don't mind sharing a dorm cabin then this could be a cost effective and fun and very sociable alternative for you? Its worth having a look in to. We would certainly encourage help with steering, locks, and even cooking if you so wish. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do. Mark
