  1. Hello, Hello, Oh dear me, At this time on the site where I'm moored there is a 'space' up for auction. It is a fully residential spot. On the shroppie. However there is a small issue with the listing in that CART are advertising 69 feet. The only space, recently vacated, Just fitted a 45 foot boat. There is plenty of space at one end for a longer boat BUT it is not adjacent to mooring rings, or an electricity point. Where I usualy moor there is a Card pre-payment meter for electricity. If I move I want my credit to move with me. or be compensated. My mooring has a BT landline with high speed broadband, for which I pay. I would not be happy if someone else plugged in to it. I would be responsible for the phone bill and anything they downloaded (e.g. pirated films). I have tried to contact cart, but there not answering my calls. I have discused this with the other moorers, they also object to moving as it would make access to the advertised facilities (electricity, water) difficult. Trev
  2. We just bought a boat in this range, We had a lot of choice and saw a lot of boats (including some of yours). Some were quit disappointing when viewed, in one case the previous owner had left his shirts and underwear for our edification (the boat was on a brokerage and not occupied). A little effort and many could have made a much better first impression on us. The more boats we visited the more we saw what we could expect for our money, and we think we've got the 'best' boat we could afford. It seemed to us that few sellers had spent any time looking at what similar boats to theirs looked like or how the boats that are selling were priced.
  3. I too am in the market for a shiny, all faux riveted new boat with a bowthruster, so either sat or sun I am off to Audlem to look at a few. One of the boats that caught my eye is called Hunters Moon, but reading the 'Fires on Boats' thread on this very forum I noticed that this boat is almost the same manufacturer / fittter with the same model stove as the Lindy Loo boat that caught fire, killing one of it's occupants, I'll be paying a lot of attention to that.
