  1. We have a shoreline fridge which I reckon was worth every penny, we have also bought a converter from shoreline which it switches to when on land line well pleased with both but not cheap then again wouldnt have expected them to be. We had a waeco cool box which only lasted 13 month before burning out Bren
  2. Puffer Parts are helpfull Brenda
  3. Roger we are moored at Snaygill if you want to come and look at ours we have both cratch and stern hood on by canvassman Brenda
  4. You could try Canvassman Brenda
  5. Yes we have the same problem with a led bought from Puffer Parts, the ones bought from Leisure Power more expensive but no problem at all Brenda
  6. Too true this book is vastly out of date, though to be honest I did find some items helpfull Brenda

  8. I agree you go for your dream Ive never regretted it, too many negatives here, you will get used to lifting gas bottles and coal you wouldnt be doing that anyway on a hireboat Brenda
  9. We have the cheap leisure batts £60 each from Puffer Parts could be £65 now they are on there 4th winter and doing great no fancy battery controllers or anything like that just a solar panel which does a good job Bren
  10. Think you will find the coolie hat is the problem I tried the whole works but only thing that stopped it was removing coolie hat Brenda
  11. Hubbie and I manage great on a 40ft cruiser stern we have a staffie and another small dog yes we would have liked longer but had to think about mooring and licence fees which go on length we bought as a sailaway then spent approx £10,000 fitting out you could of course spend less or more Bren
  12. We have the F11 on our boat dont know what they call the flu but its a strange shape my friend went to the Morco factory in Hull to get it and passed bss ok, must say though I dont like it only firing up with mains electric as it means you have to have your inverter on Bren
  13. We got some hard shiny rubber ones from"PUFFER PARTS" do the job great Bren
  14. Yes we have changed most of our halagen for led think we got them from Leisure Power they are great use hardly any battery power, would agree to the warm white ones the ordinary white ones look like a mortuary Bren
  15. We got some very hard rubber runners from "Puffer Parts" working fine 3 years later had to drill and screw them on Bren
