It was just a thought as I have lots of 24v equipment etc from my tramping days, that's all.

Hi, when I get afloat I plan to have 2 alternators running, one 12v charging a bank of 3 batts and a starter one and 24v charging 2 lorry batteries as these last longer than leisure batts and using a dropper to 12v to run a 2000 watt inverter as per my old artic, would this be a plausible idea or not ?????

Well deans, I gotta admire your enthusiasm etc, I'm just waiting for the stick that I will be getting as I will be taking to the cut soon with 17 month old twins !!!! And as for game systems etc my 17 month old daughter plays and has learnt a lot from using a iPad and the battery lasts about 8 hrs so I will be ditching the laptop but keeping my ps3.

Hi, am currently looking for second hand upto about £50000 and under 10 hrs old, have made a long list of what it should have fitted onboard but trying to find one with 2 single beds on the bow is difficult so I may have to chop the double down the middle.lol.

Hi,new to forum but not to boating, been lurking in the background reading lots of useful threads etc, will be looking for a liveable 60ft reverse layout pretty soon for myself ,the better half and our two nippers,and a Marina mooring to spend a few months over the Xmas period around the Northampton area whilst not cruising, got a rough idea wots wot especially on batteries lol.any advice,hints and tips welcome.
