We have solar so we are getting some power but with the weather being like it is at the moment it is not enough. Have found a repairer so will proberbly go down that route.

  13. Hi Robbo we all ready have a heat exchanger for the calorifier does this mean we can fit another one? cheers Chris
  14. Thank you Robbo, we are new to narrow boating and wanted a second opinion it did seem logical to us and we wondered why it hadn't been done.
  15. Sorry another heating question. At the moment we have a twin coiled calorifier with bottom coil connected via heat exchanger and a fitted 1kw immersion. We also have a 3kw bubble stove supplying 2 rads total 2.5kw pumped system. Can i connect my rad system to the top coil of the calorifier so as to benefit from the heat when running the engine when under way, and also to benefit from running the stove and using over heat to warm the hot water. Cheers chris
