bodger Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 Exchanged contracts Tuesday, boat ordered for delivery August. Can't wait. But as usual, the light at the end of the tunnel was some git with a torch! Since Monday the dog's been diagnosed with suspected cancer(£400.00 so far), the wife with a suspected hernia, and me as a grumpy old man, although that was confirmed. Still, mustn't grumble
kevinl Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 Never rains but when it pours... I hope it turns out well for both.
Stormbringer Posted April 18, 2013 Report Posted April 18, 2013 I guess every silver lining has its cloud... I hope that everything works out for you in the end ... Good luck Andy
bodger Posted April 22, 2013 Author Report Posted April 22, 2013 Cheers guys, wrote that in a moment of pique, but I really don't have a lot to moan about. Just can't wait to live aboard.

bodger Posted May 1, 2013 Author Report Posted May 1, 2013 How did I accumulate so much rubbish!!!! All week to and from the skip and charity shops. Still, the dogs Not got cancer, but now owes me £500.00, the wife does have a hernia and I am still a grumpy git(Apparently), but it's another week towards boat ownership, so all is good!
bodger Posted May 4, 2013 Author Report Posted May 4, 2013 All moved out and into the son's for the duration of the build. Car and van still full of tat, most for the skip, some for storage, where i guess it will stay for a year or 2 then to the skip! Counting the days!
Taslim Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 Clearing the house is the odd thing. Looking at the spaces where the odd things used to be. Good luck and remember skip is cheaper than storage. Freecycle works.
