Wigan flight going down!!

Hi I need help going down the wigan flight early in May, I have done these locks no prob however I am having a small op on the 3rd of April and I feel sure I will need help with these bad boys!!!!

I waited at the bottom on a summer Sunday last year for 3 hours before setting off myself. I was the only boat up that day.

The best thing to do would be go into the chatroom a few days before and mention it there, not people seem too many bother with the crew swap bit here. It might work better if there was maybe a "volunteer crew" section for posts like your rather than crew swap, I might suggest it to the site crew. When you have a date put the word out and if I can make it I will, it's not too far from where I live and I've nothing planned. Remember the Mayday bank holiday there should be quite a few people out and about if you did it over that weekend, Monday 6th May is the bank holiday I think.

Just spend Easter Sunday locking Tillergirl up the Marple 16 locks, hopefully I'll have recovered by May enough to do it again.

I think I agree Bazza - I am more likely to see a call for help that I could respond to in the main forum than in the chat room which I rarely visit, I think I have been in (very briefly) twice this year.

Personally if it was me I would just stick the request for help in General boating, it's the most well used section and it is after all 'about boating' so to me it fits.
