Hope you are all well - I don't get chance to come online much anymore

 

I told myself this time last year that I would go on a cruise for my birthday 2012, and with 2 days to go, I've booked it!

 

Tomorrow afternoon we'll be leaving Harborough onboard NB Hector, aiming to go down to Weedon and back for Friday.

 

I'm quite excited. Any members enroute to say hello to?

Ha, no its not ours until 2pm unfortunately.

I'm just puzzled because you mention Harborough, but last time I saw it was being hired out from Hillmorton.

I think Hector and the other boat, who's name eludes me, have moved as the Canal Shop Man, (ex Whilton) and Saisons has moved to Hillmorton Wharf.

 

Their web site now shows them at Harborough Magna, Rugby.

Yes confusing, they have recently moved from hillmorton to harborough magna, so we collected Hector our little tug breasted up to his brother Jack at harborough.

 

He's a gorgeous little tug! With the bedroom and engine under the deck. Were loving him so far.

 

We only made it as far as Clifton upon dunsmore in the remaining light, so chilling out at the moment enjoying thelit stove.pub up the road for dinner! Trying to work out how far we can go tomorrow now.

Often seen Hector as North Oxford is one of our "stomping grounds", always admired her neat lines.

That's the badger. We made it to buckby top lock today after a supply stop in braunston, and cos it is my birthday we are going to the pub for tea! Eee!

Not at Buckby Top you're not. Glad you made the locks, we passed at Hillmorton Bottom lock. Happy Birthday
