Help,
We are having our Narrowboat built and are going with double glazed units. We know that there is nothing to be gained from this on a heat loss, noise reduction way but it's all about replacing the window as the glass comes out as a single unit without the need to take out the frame.
Does anybody have double glazed units? if so, in your opinion should we go for full pane without a hopper, or windows with a hopper?

Nothing to gain? You mean everything to gain as heat loss, condensation, noise reduction and cooler in the summer are all benefits. The bigger the window the more benefit over single pane windows will be.

I went for large windows double glazed no opening, and interspersed with double glazed portholes, top half opens down on a centre hinge. Works for me.

Have both. Think where some ventilation would be good, bathroom, galley, bedroom, saloon, oh! that's nearly everywhere.

We have double glazed portholes, the whole glass drops back or can be removed.

We have double-glazed half-opening portholes, and double glazed hopper windows.
