They're clearly trying 'ave a larf' with you

(They're painting over the craic!)

I like collecting recipes

I now have a greater number of recipes than the likely number of days remaining to me!

Don't waste time thinking about what's wrong with yourself. Instead, focus on what's wrong with other people.

I ought to complain - I only got one!
But I hate their attitude of "licence it or lose it" mentality. It really gets up my nose when bureaucratic twits think its ok to threaten their innocent (paying) customers in such an outrageous manner. I think DVLA have the same disease. Must be something they include in the training of jobsworth who have nothing better to offer.
Whatever their excuse for such unwarrented rudeness, they are certainly masters in the art of alienating their customers (who pay their wages).

Yes disgusting slogan to head reminders. Ok i suppose for known none license payers or evaders but not their regular customers who pay on time and who's money must amount to something like 90% of their custom.

Gassafe (another Crapita Company!!) send out a notice of deregistration 10 days before you licence runs out! we never renew until the last minute as it our money until then, why should they have the interest on it until its due!

I wish I had a Monet to waste. You don't have any other Impressionist paintings do you? A couple of Renoirs will do.
