We are towing stagedamager's newly aquired butty from Middlewich to Langley Mill starting this coming Sunday. Owing to a change in circumstances we have lost one of the crew. I know that that this is short notice but if anyone fancies what will be an interesting trip please contact me. Accomodation will be on our 'modern'

How long do you expect the trip to take?

We have to catch the Monday tunnel so we do need to get a move on up the Chesire locks. After that it is on the lap of the gods. Daniel has to go back to work on Thursday by which time I would hope to be well on the way to Langley Mill. Regards, HughC.

I may be able to join you for a day and lockwheel or similar, I have an important presentation to do Friday but should be able to manage Wednesday.

Thank you GSer and matty40s. We're leaving Langley Mill on Wednesday morning, if the ice allows us to wind. Hopefully we'll catch the Friday or Saturday tunnel and should be down to Middlewich in time to pick up the tow and return to Harecastle on Monday morning. The mobile number in my OP will find us but stagedamager is unable to join us until Sunday so he could act as a 'liaison and logistics resource' until then.Any help you can offer will be gratefully received.Regards, HughC.

at the moment we're all on track, mum and dad are currently tied at Sandon, so we're looking good for hitting the Cheshire Locks at Middlewich on Sunday Morning! If anyone wants to join the fun, PM me!!!!

Hi, when you get to the Erewash I'll be on hand to cycle ahead and set the locks in you favour etc. PM me if I can be of help.
