Ashline lock now till 13th feb

Trying to bring my boat up to Nottingham.... Ashline lock at Whittlesey on the middle levels is closed until 14th feb.. Handily, Stanground lock is closed on the 14th feb... So I now can't start until half way through half term. 5 days was

Probably the MLC don't have enough staff to do two at once

have a word with the lock keeper at Stanground as i'm sure there will be a window between the 2 stoppages as its likely to be the same team doing both jobs.

Tuesdays are Tina's day off. That's why Stanground is closed. As for Ashline lock the reopening may be delayed due to the bad weather, Wet cement and sub-zero temperatures don't mix. As Foxes do not permit boat movements in the marina when there is ice, Don't expect to be moving for sometime as thick ice is slow to melt.
