Stourbridge Arm, September 16th - 18th, camping on the towpath somewhere, bookings now open for NB Cobbett. I shall feed you with hopefully Sue's help and you boys can just sit and enjoy the beer. I am hoping it won't be as cold as Audlem - it could've been and was colder later in December - but I reckon that's the coldest ever banter ...

Feedback please - I shall investigate the local hostelries in the course of the summer - in the name of research you understand ...

Please come - Magpie will be ever so excited and so will I.

When's the Stourbridge arm rally this year? Is that the same time? I thought it was later. Black Beauty normally heads out for that one anyway. Count us in.

Nope, just looked at calendar. Count ME in. Probably. John's off gadding elsewhere that week and I may be too. The following weekend would have been just perfect...

Well, we expect to be there, and might even let Richard and Sue come with us on Tawny Owl subject to the one thing that caveats everything at the moment, house move. I'm hoping we'll have moved well before then but if completion date ends up anywhere near then we may have to back out...

As one who has been drinking proper beer in stourbridge for the last 35 years I find it rather hard to believe the description that the Duke William is Stourbridge's first real ale pub!

Stourbridge rally is normally mid oct. Could we combine with that, or at least do it a week earlier so's not to spoil the fun. Otherwise Val can dance alone and Patrick can pick fleas out of his ear till Xmas.
