Timing is all. I wish you had posted this before last weekend when I thought I would have to single-hand from Fenny Marina to Cropredy - the situation was alleviated by Mrs. Athy borrowing a bike, going and parking the car at Croppers and cycling back to help work the locks!

Pursuant to this we've decided to buy a folding bike. Mrs. Athy says it can live in the engine room. I hope the 2LW doesn't go on strike in protest.

But thanks for the thought and the offer, I'm sure that there will be forum members eager to add you to the crew list!
