Interesting corollary to this, the planning permission for the changes to the marina have a condition that no-one will be allowed to live there from now on. The awkward (for the marina owners) conditions recommended by the planning officer were not included.

But THERE are people living there, people I know and at least one couple who moved from our marina as live aboards to Popes Corner as live aboards.

I have a problem with the residential bit, (i do have a residential mooring) because in my possibly simplistic view of things is that a boat takes up exactly the same amount of water space irrespective of the fact that it may or may not have someone on it , be it for a few days, weeks,months or years, so why should Cart charge more for a resi mooring than a non resi mooring.
