That is true but they are 48 hour moorings, and there are only a handful

We have stayed on the Arm for a couple of nights, and very nice it was too.

Gas,coal and Pump out was less expensive than the prices we were used to too (as well)

Our boat has been to the Saltisford Arm - it says so on the plaque on the hatch doors. So we have to go there sometime. Thanks for the reminder!

I guess 48 hours is all you'll need for a weekend! We stayed there twice, once outside the pub, once across the lock from it, had a very good time (mainly in the pub!) on both occasions.

We called in last June. Very pretty it was too. Unfortunately the little shop and every where else was shut, so we just winded and carried on our way.

It was the terminus of the Warwick and Birmingham Canal with a basin near Sainsbury. Coal was carried to gasworks and factories in Saltisford.

I understand Sainsburys was built on the basin.....
