ranger fridge freezer

We bought a ranger fridge freezer a few months ago and the freezer as never really frozen properly when we looked in it appear that there was no side part to the freezer section we were wanting to know if this is how it should be or do we have a part missing from ours. If anyone with a ranger fridge could let us know that would be great thanks.

probably from the fridge freezer an thats why it dont work properly.

sorry cant be more helpfull but I never progressed past the wet teatowel cooling system

yes there are i was unaware that we needed to correctly format our questions for them to be answered on this forum. doesnt help with my fridge problem though does it. was hoping that someone would have the same fridge as it came from limekiln just wanted to know if there is a side part to the freezer section.

somebody may be along in a minute to add something usefull its all a bit random on here.Are you near enough to drop in at Limekiln or if too far away maybe phone them. Could you email some photos to them with the question "is there a bit missing?"If you only got it a few months ago the lack of freezing is a warranty issue if the fridge is faulty.Any usefull pictures/diagrams in the instructions that came with it.

So far the only replies you got were from the wet teatowel brigade but we are outnumbered by the fridge owning boaters so help may be on its way

You will always get a better response if you make your posts easier to follow by using correct grammar and punctuation. I for one found it hard to follow your opening post. A little effort up front can pay dividends.

I suspect not many will have heard of the Fridge Freezer you are talking about.

 

Some fridge names come up time and time again, but "Ranger" isn't one I have ever come across in a boat context.

 

If you Google "Ranger fridge freezer" you get precious few hits that look useful, and an "image" or a "shopping" search don't bring up anything that looks helpful to me.

 

Looking at Limekiln's site, they don't now sell anything branded as "Ranger".

 

So, perhaps if you re-check the details, and post as much information as possible, someone may be able to help. A picture might be a good idea, just in case it's an appliance that some would recognise by a different brand, and yours has for some reason been re-badged.

 

If you bought it from Limekiln, why not ask Limekiln, though ?
